1980 Schmid-Hummel Christmas Collector Plate
Limited edition Schmid-Hummel collector plate entitled “Parade into Toyland”. Issued in 1980 by Schmid Bros, Inc, porcelain plate is a depiction of a child’s dreams of toyland with two childlike angels journey into a magical toy kingdom where wagons full of Christmas treats abound. Image is based on an original 1929 painting by famed artist Sister Berta Hummel of West Germany. Plate is about 8” in diameter and is titled and authenticated on the bottom. Plate comes complete in it’s original box with the original packing. Plate and original box are in excellent mint condition.
